Australian City Farms & Community Gardens Network annual gathering

The Australian City Farms & Community Gardens Network (ACFCGN) organises an annual gathering of city farmers and community gardeners to share stories, network and renew friendships.

Program:
9:30am – registration and cuppa
10:00am — What is ACFCGN — benefits and history
10:20am — Garden introductions from those present
10:35am — Open space workshop planning (people put forward their workshop ideas and topics they would like to explore for the day)
11:00am — ACFCGN AGM
11:20am — Morning tea
11:45am — Workshop session 1:
Option 1: Bees in the community garden
Option 2: Chooks in the community garden
Option 3: Governance style session to be decided on in the morning.
1:00pm — Lunch
2:00pm — Workshop session 2
3:15pm — Site tours
4:45pm — Wrap up

On the following day (Sunday), there will be a tour of community gardens around Geelong. On the previous evening (Friday), there will be a Tamil feast, at which Costa Georgiadis will be present.
