A farm in Victoria has started a herdshare scheme. If you are interested in owning shares in dairy cows and receiving your own fresh milk locally, look for a Facebook site called Herdshares – North East Group. The cows are not fed grain, the milk is organic and may eventually be biodynamic, the young calves are fed by the older cows – quite a happy story really. There is a drop off point in Eltham if anyone is interested.
