Lilydale Community Gardens

This garden is open to the public 24/7.

At 118 Main Street, Lilydale (outside of Bunnings).

Lilydale Community Gardens comprises a series of planter boxes on the footpath along the main road. Each of these boxes is a wicking bed.

  

Herbs such as rosemary, mint, oregano and sage are grown, along with some small vegetables and some bee-attracting plants with flowers.

There are also two olive trees growing in tubs.

Seating is provided, including some with chessboard tables.

Some of the gardeners get together on the 2nd Saturday of each month at 11am for coffee and chat.
