Learn all about the edible weed, mallow. Monique will talk about identification, ecological use, medicinal uses and some culinary uses of Mallow. After this, Amne, will share her culinary and cultural knowledge on all things mallow (khabizat in Arabic). She will show you how to pick khabizat and how to use it; this will include how to prepare sautéed khabizat with a simple pilaf and how to make zatar bread to go with it.
