This workshop will be facilitated by Marina Bistrin. ‘No dig’ gardens are a wonderful way to avoid digging, cope with couch grass and produce some rapidly growing vegetables.

Bring wet weather clothes and shoes in case it’s showery. Bring your Thermos – they will have water and snacks to share.

Organised by, and located at, St Johns Riverside Community Garden, who also have a Facebook group that you can join.

There are various ways to get to the garden. One is to park down the bottom at the start of Beverley Road, walk across the little bridge over Salt Creek where it meets the Yarra Trail, and it is next to the tennis courts. Another is to park at St Johns Anglican Church car park at 1 Burgundy Street and walk down the hill to the steps next to the tennis courts.
