Grab a green bag from the gate and spend the day wandering through the tastiest tomatoes, marvel at the zucchini, enormous eggplants and a variety of beetroot, carrots, cucumbers, pumpkins and much more. Bring secateurs, gloves, hat, sun block, and a sense of adventure. See the flyer.

There will also be competitions for the best tomato sauce and best red or green tomato pickle or relish. Bring all the produce for the competitions (with name and all contact details on label) between 10am and 12.30pm, with the judging at 1pm.

$5 from each bag will go to support Segue Community Café Stratford.

This event is organised by a group called ‘Local Produce Group’ based in East Gippsland. They don’t have a website yet but they do have a regular newsletter – see the February newsletter.
