This garden is open to the public.
The garden comprises 7 raised garden beds plus around 10 fruit trees. The beds were originally all communal but, for practical maintenance reasons, some have now been allocated to individuals. There is a garden group working together to maintain the garden, share produce, donate excess and enjoying chatter over a cuppa.
The garden was first established in 2013, with help from Yarra Ranges Shire Council and Sustainable Gardens Australia plus the local tennis club, kindergarten and men’s shed. It was then extended in 2017, with the help of John Ferris (Edible Forest Gardens) and Bendigo Bank.
Garden group gatherings are held on the first Monday of each month (except January). Everyone is welcome to go along.
