In this workshop, Penny Woodward will be sharing her knowledge and experience on the topic of garlic, including:

  • The history of garlic.
  • Characteristics of different types of garlic.
  • Soil preparation, planting, feeding, harvesting, and storing.
  • Show and tell on garlic types.
  • Tips, myths and traps for the home gardener.

Penny Woodward has published 7 books, writes articles for Organic Gardener Magazine and is a regular on 3CR’s gardening program. She is also on the board of the Australian Garlic Industry Association.
