Design a permaculture garden with Lucinda & Jules

Permaculture is a way of living that mimics the patterns found in nature. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to plan a veggie garden based on permaculture principles. Topics to be covered include:

• Zoning for convenience and access.
• Designing for sun and wind.
• Soil health.
• Water systems.
• Bed construction types.
• Appropriate plant choices.
• Swales, sheet mulching, food forests, and guild planting.

The workshop will also include a walk and talk around Edendale to see examples of permaculture techniques in action, plus participants will make a mud map of their own growing space to help plan their future permaculture plot.
