Preserving the harvest

Maria Ciavarella, from My Green Garden, will focus on preserving tomatoes. She will cover: the art and science of bottling (jars of peeled tomatoes); pickling (green tomato pickle); making a sauce (ketchup style); dehydrating (dried tomatoes); and how to make passata.

The presentation will start at 7pm but there will be sandwiches and a food swap at 6.45pm.
