Serious backyard vegetable growing

Sim, from Spoke & Spade, grows food in multiple urban backyards producing several tonnes of fresh produce a year. He sells veggies through a local $30 veg box subscription, at farmers’ markets and to cafes. Topics to be discussed will include: crop selection, timing, yields and principles of inter-cropping; living soil; easy wins to protect from pests and disease; and appropriate garden tools and watering systems.
