You will learn how to: carry out formative pruning to shape young trees; maintenance prune to maintain the size of established trees; and renovation prune to tidy up overgrown trees and reduce their size. You will also learn how to prune trees with special pruning requirements (such as figs, pomegranates and persimmons) plus winter fruit tree pest control.
