This is a hands-on cooking experience with an expert cooking instructor. Explore the Mediterranean diet, which comprises Greek food that you won’t commonly find in a Greek restaurant. Tastings, making your food and then sitting and eating together with a glass of wine or beer.
In an odd numbered month, the menu will be: Greek coffee & mountain tea with honey and loukoumi; tzatziki (yoghurt dip); zucchini fritters with feta & ricotta; keftedes (mince patties); dolmades (vine leaves stuffed with rice); kalitsounia are individual pastry pies; and Greek yoghurt dessert.
In an even numbered month, the menu will be: Greek coffee & mountain tea with honey and loukoumi; pita bread; yellow split peas fava; batzarosalata beetroot & walnut fava or melitzanosalata eggplant dips; lemon oregano chicken & capsicum skewers with Greek dakos salad; gemista stuffed tomatoes or stuffed capsicums with rice; and amigdalota (almond biscuits), ladokouloura (olive oil biscuits) or kourambiethes (almond shortbread).
