First Nations communities in the USA, Mexico, Central America and South America have stewarded maize seeds and stories for thousands of years. Meg Kimber grows corn across a network of urban growing sites and communities in Naarm Melbourne. She holds corn parties with locals and those with cultural links to maize so that they can feast together. Hear about the relationships that have grown and what Meg has learnt from maize.

This workshop is part of the two-day Buarth Gurru (Grass Flowering) and Community Food Growing Festival.

Organised by NECCHi (Newlands and East Coburg Neighbourhood Houses).
