Farmers’ Market

The Eltham market is on again this Sunday, May 25, 9am -1pm, with a variety of farmers and producers in attendance with their fresh produce to sell. This market is now Victorian Farmers Market Association (VFMA) accredited, which means that stallholders have to follow certain guidelines to sell at the market. Come along and chat to our farmers and producers and find out more of where your food purchases come from and how they are produced. Reduce packaging by bringing your own bags and trolleys, and even your own coffee mug if you purchase from the coffee stall! If you are a home grower, bring along some of your surplus to swap with other home growers between 10 and 11. Then, why not stay to listen to a permacultural ecological electroswing ukulele player and singer Charlie Mgee at 11:30 am! Maybe you could then wander down to the Eltham Village with the children for free face painting.
